Card for a challenge or 2

Well I know I was off on a little break but I managed to get a card together last night as I was watching the tv.  There isnt really any reason for the card the image I have had for a little while and it was in need of a colour and a card!  The mini wheekers are now all compelte with thier little boxes,

just need to take pics, which I will put up when I get the chance.

Been away but I am coming back!!!

I know I havent been on this past week, I have been having a week off from crafting apart from buying craft goodies of course as you can never have a break from that lol

As well as a little week off I have been sorting out the Fundraising Auction on the guinea forum I run with a friend.  I have just today finished making some mini wheekers out of Fimo for the auction.  We also had a few people to email and then all the other bits and bobs that need doing whilst I am online.

I will be back this week with some cards I promise I just need some motivation and a clear desk as its a bit of a mess, tut tut!!

I have exciting News!!!!!!!!!

I am so very..... very.... very... VERY excited to tell you all that I have been asked to be a guest DT in May for one of my favourite makers of Digi stamps and other wonderful creations......... some of which I will link to in  a mo as I neeeeed to tell you whom it is!!!!

Wellllll.............. it is SJ's Little Musings woooooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooo!!!!!  I cant believe it myself!!!!  In fact it took a wee while to sink in and I had to check the email about 6 million times just to be sure I was reading it right!

Sunny Spring Sunday

Good morning and a very happy Mothers Day to all!

 The sun is shining here in the south west and wow it is a 

beautiful spring day wooo hooo Spring has finally sprung!

My eye is finally back to normal(ish) so I have been spending the little spare time I have had this week creating a few cards.  Originally I wanted to make them for my daughters friend whose birthday it was, but with my eye playing up it just never got done in time.  Here is the first of my cards ....

Been Poorly and a challenge

Well last week was my birthday week and it was brilliant, what with being spoilt by hubby and the kids all the  fab cards and gifts from my buddies I woke up on Saturday morning with a very poorly eye.  I have eye drops which have to be done every 2 hours but I have such a headache behind the eye I have been miserable these past few days.  But today it has cleared up a lot so I can see better, but the head ache is still there :(  

Anyhow I have managed to get one quick card done for the OSAAT challenge blog and here it is...........

I will soon be back with some creations but I really havent had the time, today I finally managed to finish the dreaded forms I have spent the past 2 weeks filling out, they just have to be sent now woop woop.  Back to normal next week!

Early Birthday present (tut tut I couldnt wait)

I know I know its my birthday tomorrow but I just couldnt wait I want to show you what my lovely friend sent me  today and whilst we were chatting on MSN we decided that there and then would be a good time to open it.

Here it is my cross stitched chinchilla mounted in a beautiful frame.

I am over the moon with him and never expected a chinny cross stitch!  My friend Anne is brilliant at cross stitch, the detail is fantastic!

little update

Hi all nothing to show you as yet, I know I have been a bit quiet but I am filling out a massive form at the moment and its taking forever as they want to know sooooo much information.

I have received the new creativity mag today from CUTTING EDGE CRAFTS there are some lovely freebie stamps on the front and some great designs using them inside the mag.  The new do crafts goody bag looks nice too, lots of things for men and some fabby stamps.

Might not get on much tomorrow as its my Birthday, 32 eeeeekkkk!!!  Hubby has taken the day off so hopefully we will get out and do some things maybe passing a craft shop or too lol
