News with a Card

A couple of months ago the lovely Susan of Crafty Chaos Designs asked if I would like to be on her DT and of course I said yes as I love her digi paper sets!  Susan has now set up her very own shop where she sells these sets and some fab digi stamps you must go check it out!  

I was sent this paper pack to play with a couple of days ago with a few others but this one grabbed my eye I love the colours! This set is called Sunday Afternoon and is just 99p!

I love easel cards they are so affective!

Beach Hut freebie at Little Musings

Morning all its freebie friday yet again over at Little Musings and what a little cutie this one is, I don't think I have coloured one of sj's images for some time as she has produced some thing so pretty I don't want to spoil it, in these busy past few weeks its been a god send as I just haven't had time to use my pro markers at all.

This weeks freebie is Beach Huts, I remember  having a beach hut for a couple of summers and it was brilliant!  Making cups of tea in the comfort of the little hut, not having to bear my flesh to the world when changing from costume to clothes hehehehe so many good memories

Quick post today

Hi all its the last week of school and dont I know it, not feeling well which is typical, school disco's are all tonight and I have to be in 2 different places at once I still havent finished the teachers gifts would you beileve there are 13 of them as you can never forget the class room helpers!!!!!!!!  I cant believe some people buy their teachers a years access to a health spa, what's that all about!!!!  

Anyway its my dear friends birthday next week and as I wont get to see her I have had to quickly whip up a card for her today so I can give it to her with her present.  I used the fabulous freebie papers that came with one of the magazines and they gorgeous I found it hard to part with them!!!

  The gems & ribbon are from my stash.  Bazzil card stock and the freebie papers with flower and sentiment too.

Right thats it got to dash as have to wrap present and go do the first disco run wooooo hooooo catch you soon

After the sad closure of Magical Crafts Joanne and the DT girls have all got together to set up a brand new fortnightly challenge blog and we will be launching with our first challenge on...

Guinea Pig Makes for today

Hello everyone gosh it feels like such a long time since I actually did some normal card making!  I have been sat at my desk all of this morning and some of yesterday just creating away.  As some of you know I run a forum with my great friend Anne which is all about guinea pigs and every so often I make a few cards for there.  So this past few days I have been creating some simple little cards with guinea pigs on.  

Here they are...

All the guinea pig images are from a old retired set of Jolly nation Decoupage sheets. Papers are various including Dcwv and the Paper mania  Hampstead range.  The punch is my xcut punch, gems and pearls are paper mania.  Nesties Lables 1, marianne creatables die, Bazzil card stock and just about everything else is from my stash.

Next on list is Teachers cards which I still have to finish, a birthday card and this weeks Little Musings freebie creation.  So busy busy busy!

Little musings Friday Freebie

Hello all, so sorry I have been a bad blogger with it being the end of term and having 3 kids one of which is in a different school means things have been a bit hectic here, one more chaoitc week to go!!!.  

 I have had time to work with this weeks fabulous musing by Sj.  Now it is a tad unusual but it has to be one of my favs and I wanted to do some thing different and here is what I came up with.

 This image can be used in so many ways and Sj has given you a couple more options to work with as always and of course they are great, also check out what the CT have done too, its always inspiring!

I made the image to the size I wanted, chose the wording and sorted the colours out for them (which was a little bit difficult lol)  then printed it onto Special paper then worked my magic with the Iron (burnt My finger too)
