Out and About

This half term has been a great one, we have met up with old friends we havent seen in 4 years, walked in the woods, played in soft play, watched a movie and been on a spooky train ride. 

I thought I would share some pictures of our walk at the Harbouritam near here, as it is autumn, the best time to go and see the beautiful

colour of the trees!

Arent they just beautiful!  It took us quite some time to walk around but we hunted for the gruffalo as we went, that story is my sons absolute favourite at the moment 

Here he is in what he calls the gruffaloos hide out 

hehehehe......

 Finally here are our pumpkins that we carved at home and at the local garden centre

Its a White out - CYDA challenge #7 DT

Its a brand new fortnight over at Craft Your Days Away Challenge and this fortnights is a great one, I have never attempted a white card before but am pleased with the end result, the rest of the dt work is brilliant you must go and see!  This fortnight we are sponsored by Simon says stamp

Anyway here is my card for this fortnights challenge.  I decided to make it a christmas card but you dont have to make a chrimbo one it can be any as long as the everything but the image/sentiment/embellishments are white.

Can you see the sparkle here?

I have used the docrafts embossing folder for the card and the sugar paper, I used bazzil card stock too.  The image is coloured with my pro markers I have added glamour dust around all the edges but you cant really see the sparkle but it is there I promise!  The sentiment is a stamp I have.  Pearl gems are papermania and the ribbon is from the Range.  Oh and I used nesties labels 1 for the sentiment.  The image is (I will find out)

Been A Busy Bee

Morning all, sorry for the lack of posts but I have been busy working away at my craft desk creating some guinea pig themed goodies for my fellow guinea pig loving friends to buy.  So here is what I have made this week!

We start with candles

Then we have lots of piggy cards but I will show you my favourite ones

Then some book marks but I will show you my fav

Phew this is only a small selection of the makes but I didnt want to bore you with too many piggy creations!

Some House Mouse goings on!

Its me again and I have sooo wanted to share with you these makes as they are a first for me and I am so chuffed with how they worked out and that the person they went too loves them!  My friend Sue has a love for animals and does so much for them (and Us humans too) so I wanted to make her some very special gifts.

First is my House Mouse Candle the image was stamped onto tissue paper then coloured then added to the candle.

Then I made a little note-let to match it

Then I made a calendar

Then I made a Book Mark

And finally I made a little tag to go on the candle once I had wrapped it all up

She now has all these fabby items so I know its ok to show them to you!

Little musing spooky friday freebie day!

Good morning I can finally start showing off some of the makes that I have been creating this past couple of weeks, I have been at my craft desk nearly everyday working on some thing it has been great!

A gorgeous package arrived

Another post from me today as I have just recieved a gorgeous package, its the blog candy that I won last week over at Pene's Blog It is absolutley stunning I was so over the moon to have won I could have danced around the house!  Here is a piccy of the goodies inside the parcel all wrapped up with peach tissue paper with beautiful gold butterflies dragon flies and peach ribbon!

I didnt wait long to open each item! 

So here is what was inside!

Every item is fab I keep looking at it in awe!  

The pinky westie is sat with my tea cups looking all gorgeous!

Oh and I nearly forgot here is the gorgeous little westie themed card that came too!

Time for Tea

Morning everyone, whilst I was sat here waiting for a parcel to arrive I thought I would get cracking with this weeks tea cup Tuesday.  

This is one of my favourite tea cup and saucers, I only have the one and it was my Nans, when she died 4 years ago nearly I wanted this from her cuboard as well as the other tea cup I have to show you.  I love the pink inside and the flowers on the outside, its such a pretty cup and matching saucer!

Its folly Bone China and made in England I have No Idea what Folly Bone China is maybe some one can help?

The next cup is just that a cup it has no saucer,

it has been in the wars as it has a crack :(  But I love it!!!

The wording on the cup reads

'Of Whole Heart Cometh Hope'

I just love everything about it!

So there we have this weeks tea cup tuesday and still no sign of my parcel, I dare say it will arrive when I am out which is typical!

Little musings Friday

Morning all, today is little musings day!! As well as a fab freebie she has a fab set of  8 Kitty themed digi images all for just £1.50 (See picture at bottom of post)

Sj says:The set includes images that could be used for all year round occasions, as well as a cute pumpkin kitty for Halloween cards /gift bag toppers/ cupcake toppers etc etc.  

So I set to work with the cute Halloween image and made a couple of items first is my candle, I printed the image onto some tissue paper then used grease proof paper and my heat gun to get the finished look.

Next is a popcorn Garland for Halloween, some times for the younger children they can be a bit too spooked by the images of witches and monsters and I think this kitty image is just perfect and with the pop corn you can have lots of fun creating with the kids!

All the images are pre coloured by Sj but she also gives us uncoloured images too.

The ribbon is from my stash the popcorn I got from the 99p store 3 bags for 99p the candle was from my stash, it is worth noting that some cheaper candles don't always work so well.

Its a Tea Cup Tuesday!

Morning all today is another Tcup tuesday and I do love this time as I can show some of my little treasures with fellow treasure collectors.

This weeks t cup is a new arrival infact its a set of 2 from a very dear friend who I shall be thinking of today, I think you know who you are wink wink!  She sent me this lovely set last week and its a beauty!  I love if from the inside out!

Its Royal Albert and its called "silver Maple"  aren't they so pretty!!!

Its a baby thing at Craft Your Days Away

Morning all, this fortnights challenge over at Craft Your Days Away is all about babies.  I dont have many images of babies but thought this little cutie was the perfect image to use.
