Jam Filled sweetness

Good afternoon everyone, guess what its sunny here woop woop!
Just had to share as we don't see it often!

Back to business this month in the fabulous Paper Craft Inspirations Magazine issue 104 my tester project had a Jam theme.  As soon as I saw the pictures I was in awe of the creations and ideas that the Angela Came up with.  Some ideas using buttons and the most gorgeous papers ever!  So after I had dug around in my paper stash and embellishment stash this is what I came up with.....

The papers are all by Jillibean soup - coconut soup rage, As is the sentiment which is from sentiment stickers set.  I have also used A martha stewart doily lace punch.  A miranne creatables die for tag and the ribbon is from my stash.  The twine is SU and I believe the Embossing folder I used was by Papermania.  Everything else was from my stash.
If you would like to buy these fabby papers then go check out Sarahs Cards LTD but be ware as there are so many other tempting goodies there, speedy delivery too!

Thanks so much for popping by.

Big Burger Invite

This month for Paper Craft Inspirations Magazine we had a fab theme of 'cards for men' they arent your usual car or golf type!  We worked around the Bar B Q theme which is such a great idea and so easy to do, if you get the magazine or have a copy you will get the templates inside to use there are some fab examples of other cards made using the templates by the other paper craft testers.

So to make my card a little different I thought I would make a little burger invite, there are so many bar b q's going on this summer (what we have of a summer) that some slightly different party invites were ideal.

You can adapt the card for any situation you could even make it a giant burger and add some more layers!  Using ribbon is a fantastic idea for lettuce,  it was a way to use some of the green ribbon I have in my stash!

So there we have it a Buger themed invite for a Lads Bar B Q or maybe just for some one who loves burgers!

CYDA - Anything Goes & Farewell

Its a sad time for us at craft your days away blog as this is out very last challenge.  We have decided to draw the challenge blog to a close.  I for one have enjoyed it, I was there from the start and with the previous blog so it has been a long stint for me which has been brilliant.  I would just like to say thanks to Joanne and to all the other teamies past and present, its been fab working with you and getting to know some of you.

So with this being our last ever challenge we thought we would do a Anything Goes Theme
We have a fabulous prize for the winner go check out the blog for more details.

I chose to make a card with my favourite papers, it took me a wee while to get hold of them and when I did I really didnt want to use them however I thought this would be a fitting challenge to use them on .

As always our challenge blog has a anything works theme so it doesnt have to be a card it can be anything you choose, the dt have created some goregeous goodies for you to look at so please go take a look and get some crafty inspiration.

Beautiful Balloons

Afternoon all, its a gorgeous sunny day here and we are hoping it is going to stay this way for the weekend as the international balloon fiesta will be happening !!!  The balloons usually come over our house and we have seen lots of shapes in previous years.  This year we are looking forward to seeing woody the wood pecker and action man as well as lots lots more!

So with the balloon fiesta nearly here I wanted to show you some cushion covers that I made a special young man a few weeks ago.  The fabric was given to me by a lovely lady by the Name of Dee and is absolutely gorgeous the quality is lovely.

I made envelope style so it is easy to take out the pads and wash and pop back on.  I added a little ribbon detail to the corner as well just to add some thing different.

Dont forget that craft your days away challenge is still happening and we have a olympic theme scroll down to read more of the details about our sponsor this fortnight.
