Sparkles Forum Challenges - Get Well Soon

Morning, I hope the sun is shining where ever you are today.  Its the 15th of May which means its another brand new month for Sparkles Monthly Challenges.
The theme this month is:

Get Well Soon

This month we are sponsered by
Di's digi downloads  our winner will win a $10 spend in their online store.

I do find get well soon cards difficult so wanted to stick to some thing very simple and cheerful so here is my make for this months challenge

The papers are a freebie from Simple Home made Magazine I believe it was last months issue and the ribbon was from the same freebie set as the papers.
The flowers are from various suppliers.
The sentiment is American Crafts and the gems are from paper mania.

So there nice clean and simple, if you fancy joining us at Sparkles Monthly challenges then go check out the blog you will find some gorgeous examples from the other dt.

Right I must dash off to finish some sewing I hope you all have a great day!

Sewing Sunday

Hi all isnt it a beautiful day?  The sun is shining and I have managed to get nearly all my washing done!  The guinea pigs are out mowing the lawn and I have been able to get a bit of crafting done.  So now I have a bit of spare time I thought I would do a little catch up on some of the sewing crafts I have been working on.

First of all I have had this gorgeous fabric for a little while and thought maybe it was time to use a little bit, so I made this cushion cover which I am very pleased with.

I thought it was about time I had some thing to store my crochet hooks in as well as a pair of scissorts so set to work creating a template that worked for me and then made this.  It took a couple of attempts to get it how I wanted it.  I will hopefully be making more to sell soon.  Note the Kath Kidston strawberry fabric, how I brought myself to cut into it is beyond me I love it!

Some key rings that I made a little while back, westie and guinea pig themed.

And this gorgeous little softie from a lovely pattern by ginger melon.

Thanks so much for popping by and I promise to catch up with your blogs this week!

CYDA - All Creatures Great And Small

I know I know I am a terrible blogger lately!  I seem to only be posting challenges and not much else but I promise to try and sort myself out and get more organised!  I have so much to show but not a lot of time to write up about it!

Any way I have made a few cards this week one of which is for a brand new challenge over at
this fortnight the theme was chosen by me and I chose

Our sponsor for this challenge is Meljens Designs which are amazing and each of our dt members have used a Meljens image so check out the challenge blog for some inspiriation and Meljens store to stock up on some lovely digi stamps!

Here is my creation

I used pro markers to colour, pearls to decorate, the papers are a freebie from a magazine, I think some of the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts and some are from Duck Pond Crafts, sentiment is a craft work cards and the all other items are from my stash.

I look forward to seeing what you all make when I pop over to your blogs.
