Westie Wishes - Sj's little musings

Hi all up very early this morning eeekk... its a friday again which means a Musing by Sj and its a fab one this week (as always).  A few weeks ago Sj had a fab comp to win a musing of your own and a lovely lady by the name of Lisa chose to have her little westie Nippy turned into a little musing.  The result is fabby!

Here is my card using Nippy

Isn't he adorable?  I know there are quite of few of you who own westies so this will be a perfect image for you.  I am going to be using him a lot especially for thank you cards when people look after My own Westie Pinky when we go on our holidays.

I have used:

Papers - ?  I am terrible at remembering!

Image Sj's Little Musings - Nippy

Coloured with - Pro markers just to bring the image out a little I have used Ivory and Pink in the ears

Sentiment - is one by the lovely Caz (check out her fab work!)

Pearls - Paper mania

Flowers - Blogging buddy Sarah

Punch - X cut

Thanks all for popping by and dont forget to get on over to Sj's Little Musings and pick up this freebie and check out what the DT have done with this Fab image, oooo and I forgot to mention one image is already shaded for you like the one in my card and the other is plain for you to shade as you wish or even change the colours completely for maybe a cairn terrier or a scotty?

Catch you soon

Bank Holiday Monday

Nothing much to show you in the card making way today but I did want to update you on the forum fundraiser and share a picture of one of the LOTS that was won.  We raised just under £300 for 2 guinea rescues which is a amazing total and we are totally blown away by the items donated and by all those who bid and won items and those who just donated!  The actual grand total hasn't been announced as we are awaiting a couple of cheques to clear but wow its amazing!

As some of you know I make little fimo families of guinea pigs called Mini Wheekers and they are much loved by the people whom I make them for.  I have included sets in the auctions we do over at Guinea Pig Haven to raise money for guinea pig rescues and they are always popular.

This time around I was shown a pigture of my Mini wheekers being modelled by a lovely piggy who goes by the name of Patrick

Patrick is owned by a forum member and isn't he cute!  He is also sat on a beautiful crochet blanket made by Rebecca who has a blog and makes these wonderful creations to raise money for her own animals care.

Right I am now off to enjoy the rest of my bank holiday monday, I really need to have ago on my new sewing machine which is still sitting under its cover on the side.

Bye for now!

Little Musings Freebie Day - DT Curtis

Oh how I have loved working with this handsome surf dude curtis by Sj's little musings this week, he is brilliant and with this gorgeous weather he certainly fits in so well!  I didnt want to make a card with him I wanted to do some thing slightly different, so I thought about doing some thing for outside and came up with little a simple straw accessory.

They are really easy to make and this is all you need (excuse my messy mat!)

I would give you a tutorial but I think you can work out how to do them by just looking at them they are very simple and can be done with pretty much any image.

Isnt he soooo coool!!!!  Perfect for parties for men and young people or even a girly party or for some of you, you may need a gorgeous man to accompany you in the sun whilst your other man watches the footy!!!

So to get your fabulous freebie this week go check out little Musings
