Card For Mum

Can you believe its nearly that time again where us mums get a day of pampering!!!!  Cant wait, think I may need to drop a few hints about the date to hubby and kids just so they remember!

This card is for 2 challenges, both challenges are cards or a creation for MUM.  I adore these papers and as soon as they arrived the other day I had to use them.  I love the image it can be used for soooo... many things!

Stitchy Challenge

Well I thought I wasn't going to make it for the first ever challenge over at one stitch at a time.

The theme is stitching, faux stitching anything with stitching on it :)  They are very simple thank you cards, I needed to do rather a lot for my daughters friends as a thank you for coming to her party and for the wonderful presents.

A special kitty card

The other day I made a card for a dear friend using the freebie kitty image over at Motivet  I wanted to use a cat image as she is a big fan of cats as well as guinea piggy's.  At the moment she cant see it as 1. its on the way to her and 2. she has computer problems lol so I thought I would sneak it on!

Fab Digi for a challenge

I found this lovely lady who does some amazing drawings on Face book and has a blog which has some freebie images for you as well as some fantastic creations.  If you haven't already seen Sj's Little Musings then you have to take a peek.  There are also some digi images that are already coloured for you, so it makes using them that little bit easier.

I have used one of sj's images to make a card for a boy, I don't usually do boys cards simply because I cant find the right image, that was until I came upon this one.  So here is my creation.......................................

Its Today!!!!

Something For My little Princess

I have been wanting to have a go at making this altered CD for a while after watching a tutorial on Inspirational Tips, techniques and Tutorials This site is fabulous you will be so inspired to have ago at some of their creations!
Here is what I did with my plain old cd.......

This just to happened to fit with the theme running over at Magical Crafts Fortnightly challenge, this fortnights theme is 'Some thing For The Kids' so I will be entering it into that.  If you haven't been over there already then you must, this fortnights prize is a gift voucher for simon says stamps. 

I have used: A old CD, Papers are Forever Friends, Ribbon is dove craft, letters from my stash, tilda image, coloured with Pro markers, water colour pencils and gel pens. 

My daughter loves it, my eldest wants me to do a Ben 10 one for his room now lol so looks like I am going to be busy!

A simple thank you card

It has been manic here, Its my daughters birthday tomorrow and I have the family coming around and I am arranging her party for a week Saturday,  This Saturday she has a party of one of her friends to go to and she has a school performance in the city.  So not much time for crafting!

I have however managed to make this thank you card using a tilda image, papers & card from my stash, the stamp 'thanks' is by cuddly buddly( I think) and the hat pins are from Hobby Craft.  I have used my water colour pencils to colour. 

Thats all from me this week hopefully I will get time next week to take part in a few challenges.  Will be blog hopping later to see all my blogging buddies work!

Good news and Bad news!

Some excellent news first I think!!! I have won some gorgeous candy from over at  Designs By Denise If you haven't been over there yet you must go check out her lovely stamps and creations.  I cant wait to receive my stamp and make some crafty goodies with it!  Thank you Denise !

Now the BAD news

Well it would appear that some one has been spreading a little bit of naughtyness around this week as I have been locked out of everything that needs a password including here and my own forum!!!  So I have been spending time sorting that out!  All my passwords we unaccepted so I had to change them, for me that is a bit of a huge task as I forget everthing and have so many email addys and passwords running through my head I cant remember which belongs to which.

Any how its all sorted now fingers crossed!!!

I have some things to show you now I am all sorted but have a few bits and bobs to do first, I shall return soon!
