New Arrival

A late post from me today.  This weekend  we picked up a new chinchilla, a new friend for BOB.  As some of you know we had a terrible bug that went through my animals and I lost so many one of which was Chinster one of my gorgeous chins.  Bob was left behind and has been battling the bug on and off.  But he has reached a point now where he is no longer on antibiotics and holding his own!  So I managed to track down a chinny in need of a home that would suit bob and here he is 

meet NEELIX

He is blind in one eye, has a curly tail and a chewed ear but he is simply gorgeous! 

He has got used to being indoors already and is lappying up all the attention he is getting.  He has met bob who is in his cage behind Neelix and they sit on their shelves next to eachother.  I am just hoping intros go well! So get your fingers crossed!

So thats my little bit of news for this week.

Sparkles Forum Challenges -Valentines

Something new for 2011

Well this year I decided I had to have another go at sewing and when Annie the Felt Fairy organised a Monthly Make for 2011 I thought I would join in.  

The pledge is to make some thing, anything once every month.  This month I chose to make this Bag With Guinea Pigs on,  (everyone knows how much I love guineas!)
bearing in mind this is the first ever time I have ever tried do design anything like this myself, this is what I came up with.

A bit of a wobbly close up on the guineas lol but I think you get the idea!

I actually really enjoyed making it!  And shall enjoy showing it off!  My daughter adores it so may have to fight her for it lol

CYDA Challenge - LOVE

A new day and another post from me, its a brand new challenge over at Craft Your Days Away!  

Its a fab one and one that I enjoyed because I love these colours!

Here is the one I chose this one its by Meljen's Design and can be found at the whimsy store.

I used some freebie papers from a magazine (it was a forever friends set) The image is coloured with pro markers, the ribbon is from the Range the sentiment is from a set, the hearts are made using a sizzex die, and I have also used my nesties labels one.  The Brad is from the lovely Penne :)

Very exciting News for Little musings plus a wedding Digi set!

Morning all!

Today is a very special and exciting day for Little Musings as Sj's fab rubbah stamps will be making a appearance on QVC this afternoon at around 4pm.  So if you would like to see some great works with little musings stamps and get your hands on some then please do watch!  You can also purchase them NOW from QVC HERE  Get in before they sell out!!!

Now on to this weeks musing which has a Wedding Theme.  There is a paper set with digi sentiments and a digi stamp set.  This week I decided to use the digi stamp of the wedding cake.  How cute is this stamp!

I decided to make a Wedding cake box which was sooooo easy and there are lots of templates available free on the internet if you just google them.  The sentiment stamp is a Lily of the Valley stamp, the flowers are a mixture of paper mania and wild orchid crafts.  Ribbon is from my stash.

Sparkles challenge #3 - recipe

A rather late post from me but I have been away in centre parcs having a great time with our SPECIAL FRIENDS which is a fab charity take a look if you have a minute!  I also hope to do a couple of fundraisers during this year some time as with out this charity we as a family wouldnt have met and been supported by some pretty fab people!
