Craft Your Days Away goes vintage

Morning all, are you all waiting for this heat wave that is due to hit us at some point this weekend?  Its grey and miserable here and doesnt look like its set to change but we can live in hope.

Craft Your Days Away has another fab challenge and this fortnight we are going vintage!  Check out all the other DT's work it is awesome!
I decided to make a tea cup candle, I picked up this set of tea cups saucers and plates for £2.50 in the local charity shop.  I cleaned it up and then the candle making commenced.
I made tags using a die and distressed them to give them a vintage look I then stamped and added pearls. Tied with Lace and pearls.
Here is what the candle looks like with out all the wrapping on
A lovely trio which smells great  too!

Craft your Days Away is a multi crafts challenge blog so your are free to enter what ever you have made as long as it fits the Vintage theme for this fortnight.

We are sponsored this time by the lovely Simon Says Stamp.

Looking forward to seeing all your makes!

  5. Hi Dazie

What a beautiful project .. .. I bet that set of crockery could tell a few tales if it could talk!!

I wonder how many people have used them during their lifetime.

Love how you have wrapped and presented them.

    Love Jules xx
