Hooray!

I went out in my car for the first time in about a year. I was shaking like a leaf but got to The Range and Back with no problems!!!

I decided today that I need to get out and drive more as its stopping me from doing things. As a reward for getting to The Range I treated myself to a few little goodies; 2 smirk stamps, a paper mania stamp set of a fairy and tiara, more gluey things, some ribbon and the last goody bag in store, that contains the daisy and dandelion goodies. I did ask about the next goody bag but apparently they are waiting for Trim craft to do a demo day there at the beginning of May before they put them out *sighs*, but I am happy with what I have, I know I will use all of it.

Tomorrow I am hoping to get back in my car again and go for another little jaunt, hopefully it wont be as costly as todays adventure lol, I dont think hubby is going to be too impressed if I visit all the craft shops in the area hehehe

Above is just a quick card for a good friend, just to let her know I am thinking of her at the mo. I used the backing papers from Tinker&Co because I love them sooo much!

Happy crafting everyone!

Finally A card

I have finally made a card! I wanted to use my picture of Bernie one of my guinea pigs. He is a darling little fella and his smile on this pic always makes me smile and I am sure it will make whom ever receives this little card smile too.

I have used the very, very lovely Spring Fresh papers from Tinker&CO this is one of my favourite blogs, go check it out, whilst you are there check out the scrummy yummy candy that is on offer too! The Flowers are Prima Flowers and the Button is from my stash as well as the little gems (both I recieved from lovely people in the blogging world)

Have a lovely day & Happy Crafting!

Hhmmmpphhh

This week has really started well, NOT!! Firstly I have started a Diet, the wii fit and I are not agreeing on my weight so I have decided to take drastic action and no more chocolate or rubbish!

Monday wasn't too bad spent the day with my daughter and after school we went off to the new park which was great. In the evening I tried to make some cards, couldn't get anything to work.

Tuesday got up bright and early kids off to school, had a look at my craft table and thought will attempt some thing later. Went to mow the lawn and busted the mower. Hubby cannot understand how I have managed to seize the engine and bend the plate, might have some thing to do with Pinky's rubber chicken that I shredded... Shhhhhh.... So I didnt get much of the lawn mowed. Collected my son from school to be told he had, had a bad day. Tried again to create some cards or even a ATC and nothing would work.

Today being Wednesday, I have come to the conclusion that little mojo has gone on a spring break and will be back when it pleases. I need to make a new baby card and I just have no inspiration at all. I hope it will be back soon because I need some thing to take my mind off of all the yummy chocolate sat in the cuboard!!

And to top it all off the car has broken down again so that will be another huge job for hubby and expense for us!

Hopefully I will be back with another more positive post soon with a card or some thing!!!
I hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weather!

A card

Its been a little while since I made a new card and with my pro markers arriving in the week I had a play and coloured a Edwin image. I know I still need more practise but I do think he looks rather sweet. I decided to use some of the goodies I was sent by craftycrafter Denise to make a card with Edwin taking Pride of place in the middle. I am not sure if its a little too fussy but I kind of like it.

The buttons are from the pastel range at silly monkey crafts, the flower and Ribbon are from my stash and the sentiment is a freebie from a craft magazine.

I hope you like it!
