This weeks makes

Sorry they are all bundled into one post but being the bad blogger I am this past couple of weeks this is the only time I seem to have to sit down and upload them.

I will be honest I seem to be losing my mojo a little and inspiration is lacking, having the kids home hasn't helped, but hey kids will be kids!

2 Cards are just quick makes I would like to add more to the Sarah Kay image card but just haven't found exactly what I want to use yet. I will pop a update pic on when I finally find out what to use! The image was kindly given to me by a blogging Friend (cheyrl) and its lovely, you cant beat a sarah kay image!

Next are my 2 atc'sI hope you like this weeks makes I still have the other things I have made but as I have said before until I know they have safely reached their destination I cannot post about them.

Terrible Blogger

Yes I know I have been a terrible blogger, I have been creating I just haven't had the time to sit down and show you guys what I have been making. Some of what I have been making is for friends who haven't received their creations yet so until I know they have arrived safely I can't show you.

Blog Candy!

Hi all this week is finally over and I thought wooo hooo freedom from school holidays and chaos only to have hubby home ill and he is still ill. I have a few things I need to do this includes telling you about some yummy candy and saying thank you for some lovely awards that have been given to me and that I need to dish out to some more lovely bloggers!

Right well first for the candy! June has some gorgeous candy over at Junes Arty Retreat! This candy ends 31st July so you need to get in quick for your chance to win!The second candy I need to tell you about is the crafty pagans, this pic obviously isnt the actual candy, oh no it is far more scrumptious than sweeties! Busy Blogger

I know I haven't posted for a little while but things have been really busy with the schools coming to the end of term. What with presents to be bought and made up, disco's, visits and all the other things I haven't really had the time to focus on cards or atc's. Well that was until today!

Here are 2 cards I made to day using the lovely images sent to me by Clare of Taffy cratfty's creations. I won her fantastic birthday blog candy and I have loved using theses images. Thank you Clare!!!
The cards are just basic, I wanted some to keep in my emergency card box for those times when one is needed asap and there is no time to whip one up, so I havent added a sentiment yet.

I have used my pro markers to colour, dove craft backing papers, card from my stash, gems are paper mania and the blue flowers too. The pink flowers are from my stash as is the ribbon.

I hope everyone is ok, I have been blog hoping but havent always managed to leave you comments, I will hopefully be back on track over the next few weeks!

Guest Dt for the Crafty Pad

Well as some of you know I was lucky enough to win a fab stamp and a guest dt spot at
the crafty pad. This week is my week as the guest dt and this is what I have made with the lovely Penny Pamper stamp. The challenge was to use the words Thinking Of You and also to add a hint of blue.

I have used blue card for the background, coloured in with Pro Markers, I have also added glitter to all the bubbles but the pictures dont really show this. The flowers, gems and buttons are from paper mania and the paper I have used is from the dove craft range, the name of which I have forgotten, sorry.

Todays Creations

Finally I have managed to get the card I was working on put together and completed. This card is for my daughters friend who is going to be 5. She loves pink, flowers and fairies so I think this card is perfect for her.

I have used a image sent to be by Lisa of Allissa's designs it was one of the lovleys in the sifga I was chosen to receive. I believe it is a Pink Gem stamp so hop on over there and have a browse. I have also used some pink and blue card from a do crafts goody bag, flowers from my stash oh and the glitter on the wings etc is from Lisa too and I am going to be getting myself some of this as it is utterly gorgeous to work with and looks so pretty I just wish you could see it properly!

This is the Atc I made using a image from a freebie site I wish I could remember which one. I used the gorgeous glitter Lisa sent me to at touches of sparkle, the back ground is some material I have in my stash the dimantes are from papermania.

The last atc is just a sweet little thing made using a freebie image again, the flowers are from my stash the purple card was a left over bit which I have corner punched and laid over a atc size card.

ChinnyBobs

I haven't really been doing much crafting over the week end or last week, I have tried I promise but what ever I put together looked awful so went in the reject box. Any how our new arrivals are here they go by the names of Bubble and squeak as that's what their previous owner called them, but to be honest the list of names my children are coming up with is going on and on and I just call them chinny and bob lol

We have a little bit of work to do on their cage, as I would rather they were on wooden shelves rather than wire, other than that they are fab and have settled really well.

This week I am going to be creating my cards for the crafty pad dt guest spot that I won, I am awaiting the arrival of the chosen stamp and will then set to work, I am quite excited about it and I just hope I can come up with some thing good!

Will be back soon with some creations, I am trying to work on a birthday card for a little girl, I think I have it just about sorted.

Birthday card

Here is the Birthday card I made for Lisa over at Allissa's design Camp. I know she likes vintage themed things, so I thought I would have a bash at a vintage themed card some thing I have never done before apart from atc's.

My lovely blogging friend June came to the rescue with this image as I couldn't find one I liked, that went with the design I had in my mind. June kindly gave me this one which when I saw it knew it was perfect. Thank you June!

I hope you like it. Will be back soon with some more makes but with the impending arrival of my 2 new furries I have my mind on other things like where they are going to go lol so I will try and fit some more card making in some where.

Woo hooo News news news!!!

Well this weekend has been rather a lovely surprising one it all started Friday when I returned home from a very busy sports day and both my children's school fayres, I checked into my blog to find Lisa from Allissasdesigncamp had chosen moi to receive one of her fantabulous SIFGA's. What is a SIFGA I hear you say!!! Well its Allissa's Random Follower Stamped Image Folder Give Away (there is a little clickable piccy in my side bar) I was totally surprised and well I am still quite lost for words hehehe as Lisa has been so kind to me already! If you want to know more about this then check out Lisa's blog its full of the most amazing designs, you will love it!

On sunday I found out I had won the Crafty Pad challenge with my just ted on a ball card (scroll down to have a peek)! This was a shock, but not only that the prize is guest DT for a week over at the crafty pad *shivers with nerves* with the choosen stamp of that week, so I hope my mojo will be in check then!!! I will let you know more details as they happen. Thanks to those lovely ladies who have congratulated me, Diane over at Dianes rambles especailly as she left messages everywhere hehehe.

Finally today I had some great news that my friend who is having to rehome her chinchilla's has choosen me to have them, I am so very excited I have a thing for guinea pigs as most of you already know and chinchilla's have always been pets I have wanted and now its about to come true. They are called bubble and squeak and are 4 years old, I will definelty be showing pics when they arrive and are settled!!!

Soooo.... have I made any thing this weekend? yes I have but I cant show you yet as its a surprise, but by the end of the week I will pop it up for you to see.

Button Bear

I finally managed to create a little card. I have wanted to enter a challenge at the crafty pad for some time and after I won a cute stamp a little while back I thought it was about time I put it to some good use and created this little cute bear on the ball card. The theme is buttons, so I have added 3 as you can see.I have used some papers from the docrafts goody bag a while back, ribbon, cotton & buttons from my stash, sentiment stamp was the freebie from creativity magazine a couple of issues back and of course the stamp is Just Ted - ball from the crafty pad and finally I have coloured him in using pro markers. I hope you like it!

I am trying to put together another card at the mo but its just not doing as its told! So for now I have put it to one side and will try again tomorrow if I get time. My son is on top form tonight so I think the illness may be over hoooorayyyy!!!!

Night night bloggers!

Slowly melting away!

This heat is horrible, I am not a big sun worshipper and much prefer the colder months. I think I am slowly melting away!!!!

I have tried to get some crafting done but keep getting half way through and then zoom all thoughts of how I want some thing to look disappear! I am blaming the weather totally for this.

My youngest is still quite poorly although as I type this he is up and about causing havoc so I guess either the calpol is working its magic or he is feeling a wee bit better! We took him to the docs last night and he said its just viral and that he would just have to battle it out. He has been feeling very sorry for himself though and sleeping lots.

Right off to get the kids sorted and throw myself in a cold bath to cool down I think!
