Birthday card

Here is the Birthday card I made for Lisa over at Allissa's design Camp. I know she likes vintage themed things, so I thought I would have a bash at a vintage themed card some thing I have never done before apart from atc's.

My lovely blogging friend June came to the rescue with this image as I couldn't find one I liked, that went with the design I had in my mind. June kindly gave me this one which when I saw it knew it was perfect. Thank you June!

I hope you like it. Will be back soon with some more makes but with the impending arrival of my 2 new furries I have my mind on other things like where they are going to go lol so I will try and fit some more card making in some where.

Woo hooo News news news!!!

Well this weekend has been rather a lovely surprising one it all started Friday when I returned home from a very busy sports day and both my children's school fayres, I checked into my blog to find Lisa from Allissasdesigncamp had chosen moi to receive one of her fantabulous SIFGA's. What is a SIFGA I hear you say!!! Well its Allissa's Random Follower Stamped Image Folder Give Away (there is a little clickable piccy in my side bar) I was totally surprised and well I am still quite lost for words hehehe as Lisa has been so kind to me already! If you want to know more about this then check out Lisa's blog its full of the most amazing designs, you will love it!

On sunday I found out I had won the Crafty Pad challenge with my just ted on a ball card (scroll down to have a peek)! This was a shock, but not only that the prize is guest DT for a week over at the crafty pad *shivers with nerves* with the choosen stamp of that week, so I hope my mojo will be in check then!!! I will let you know more details as they happen. Thanks to those lovely ladies who have congratulated me, Diane over at Dianes rambles especailly as she left messages everywhere hehehe.

Finally today I had some great news that my friend who is having to rehome her chinchilla's has choosen me to have them, I am so very excited I have a thing for guinea pigs as most of you already know and chinchilla's have always been pets I have wanted and now its about to come true. They are called bubble and squeak and are 4 years old, I will definelty be showing pics when they arrive and are settled!!!

Soooo.... have I made any thing this weekend? yes I have but I cant show you yet as its a surprise, but by the end of the week I will pop it up for you to see.

Button Bear

I finally managed to create a little card. I have wanted to enter a challenge at the crafty pad for some time and after I won a cute stamp a little while back I thought it was about time I put it to some good use and created this little cute bear on the ball card. The theme is buttons, so I have added 3 as you can see.I have used some papers from the docrafts goody bag a while back, ribbon, cotton & buttons from my stash, sentiment stamp was the freebie from creativity magazine a couple of issues back and of course the stamp is Just Ted - ball from the crafty pad and finally I have coloured him in using pro markers. I hope you like it!

I am trying to put together another card at the mo but its just not doing as its told! So for now I have put it to one side and will try again tomorrow if I get time. My son is on top form tonight so I think the illness may be over hoooorayyyy!!!!

Night night bloggers!

Slowly melting away!

This heat is horrible, I am not a big sun worshipper and much prefer the colder months. I think I am slowly melting away!!!!

I have tried to get some crafting done but keep getting half way through and then zoom all thoughts of how I want some thing to look disappear! I am blaming the weather totally for this.

My youngest is still quite poorly although as I type this he is up and about causing havoc so I guess either the calpol is working its magic or he is feeling a wee bit better! We took him to the docs last night and he said its just viral and that he would just have to battle it out. He has been feeling very sorry for himself though and sleeping lots.

Right off to get the kids sorted and throw myself in a cold bath to cool down I think!
